Surfacing, The Abstract Effect

Beginning with basic concepts and allowing both my instincts and expressions and those of my collaborator to take over, an open free environment is created. This freedom of space and expressiveness coupled with the nude figure reach deeply into raw, unmasked, subconscious emotions and feelings bringing them to the surface. The studio set and technical details are constant, however the results are far from it. The varying expressions, feelings and emotions that surface between myself and each individual fascinate me and draw me back into the mystery of the abstract.
